Batik workshops

We have been giving talks and workshops to interested groups all over the country since 1985, and last year began to teach here in a converted bakehouse behind our shop in Bishop's Castle.

We can provide a one-day workshop at your own venue, suitable for a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 15 . The cost is £19.50 per person plus travel at 40p per mile. The workshops run from 10am to 4pm and we always bring a good selection of textiles and equipment for sale afterwards.

Alternatively, you may choose to attend one of our workshops in Bishop's Castle which is a delightful little border market town set in the South Shropshire hills. As anyone who knows it will tell you, it has a lively character all of its own, with bookshops, cafés, two homebrew pubs, and of course our shop Textile Traders which specialises in beautiful handmade textiles from around the world.

These workshops are restricted to 6 people (minimum 3) and are very popular, so book early. You can book online. Groups of 4 or more can also book days at any time. The course fees are listed under details and include all materials and refreshments.
